Hi, I'm Elizabeth Rose. It's great to see you!

As a single mom of two little girls, I remember what it felt like to barely make ends meet and be solely responsible for my family. I recall the challenging experiences of divorce and the financial hardship that resulted. My desire is to help other women avoid the pitfalls.

I have been in the financial services industry for over 40 years. Over countless years and conversations with clients, I discovered many women lack confidence in making financial decisions. I felt led to change that; to encourage and empower women to take ownership of their financial future.

Every decision in life, every encounter, and every relationship can alter or influence your life. What is most important is what you choose to do with it. And if you’ve been knocked off course, it is never too late to get back on track or start fresh.

I believe we are all capable of taking charge of our financial house and securing our financial future. With this book, my goal is to guide you and equip you with a roadmap and tools to take control of your finances… to become your own financial hero!

And Brothers...A book for Everyone!

The financial advice in this book is extremely well thought out an presented in a manner that all can understand. It is clear that the Author is well versed in financial literacy AND holds a Phd in the "School of Hard Knocks". She seems to have learned many of her financial lessons first hand through her own experiences. I appreciate the fact that the Author, a 40 year financial veteran, could be vulnerable enough to share her own financial trials and tribulations and give REAL advice that everyone can use. It is also very clear that the Author is a Woman of Faith. She weaves this into her writing and contextualizes her quotes of scripture into her financial lessons. If that is not your thing, trust me, keep reading. The lessons are brilliant!

Don't let the title fool you, this is sound advice for anyone who finds themselves looking to own their own finances in good times and bad. I am glad I found this book and will be sharing it with my three daughters.

Easy to understand financial freedom roadmap

I just finished reading this, and it is a book that I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in learning about how to take control of their finances. It’s especially focused on helping women who are newly single, and don’t know how to start, or what to do with their income to plan for the future. I’m not a math or financial whiz, but Elizabeth puts difficult principles in easy to understand, step-by-step instructions. It’s not an easy thing to do, but she lays out the plan very well.
